Vision

Russell Elementary School in collaboration with the community will provide a safe, nurturing, and clean environment that offers rigorous standards-based instruction for all students with respect to diversity.

Mission

Russell will close the achievement gap by providing each student with personalized and rigorous standards-based academic instruction that will prepare them for the demands of college life and ultimately for a career that will allow them to become productive members of our global community.

Teachers will work collaboratively to plan rigorous standards-based instruction through a data driven process of goal setting, evaluation, and reflection that will refine and enhance teacher practice.

In order to meet the educational and social-emotional needs of all students, we will implement a three-tiered Response to Intervention and Instruction (RTI²) model that will bring a renewed emphasis to the differentiation of first instruction and intervention.
